ABOUT FOCA: In January 2025, a dedicated group of experienced animal fosters, rescue workers, and former shelter board administrators came together to form Friends of Chilton Animals. United by a shared passion for animal welfare and community service, the group quickly mobilized and achieved nonprofit status by March 2025. As their first act of compassion, they delivered 2,000 pounds of dog and cat food to families affected by tornadoes in Maplesville and Isabella. Now, the organization is focused on establishing a pet pantry to support local pet owners in need—helping them keep their beloved animals at home and out of shelters.
